Meet Svanraven, the Raven Fylgja.

In Norse tradition, the fylgja is a guardian spirit bound to a person for their entire life. It often manifests as an animal that reflects one’s character, temperament, or destiny, sometimes taking the form of a female figure acting as a protective spirit.

The raven-shaped Fylgja is one of the most powerful and symbolic manifestations in Norse lore, associated with:

wisdom and hidden knowledge

the ability to see what others cannot

omens and visions

connection to the spirit world and the dead (the raven is considered a psychopomp, guiding souls into the afterlife)

Svanraven is more than a warrior linked to the raven’s fate: she is a strategist, intuitive and contemplative, able to read signs, omens, and the threads of destiny.
