Moroi dark sorcerer miniature

The Moroi dark sorcerer miniature is a 75mm high-quality 3D resin kit from the Tenebrae gothic fantasy collection. Created for miniature painters, display painters and collectors, Moroi combines a dramatic silhouette, supernatural details and a wide variety of surfaces within a single character.

Wrapped in flowing garments, chains and dark armour, Moroi appears as a spectral figure shaped by dangerous magic. Its elongated forms and suspended elements create a strong sense of movement, while the lantern, distorted features and alternative equipment offer different possibilities for composition and painting.

Within the world of Tenebrae, Moroi draws strength from the mysterious red mist and from the lingering energy of the fallen. Its ancient chant echoes among the graves, calling supernatural forces and the dead back into motion.

Moroi was born from the excessive use of light magic, although its true origins remain uncertain. The more dark magic it channels, the more its physical form becomes twisted and consumed by the same power it seeks to control.

This background makes the miniature particularly suitable for atmospheric colour schemes, dramatic lighting and supernatural effects. Painters can explore the contrast between the warm glow of the lantern and colder spectral tones, or develop an entirely personal interpretation of the character.

A detailed 75mm painting project

The sculpt brings together flowing fabric, armour, chains, exposed supernatural features and different metallic elements. Each surface offers distinct opportunities for colour, texture and lighting studies.

The lantern can become the main light source of the composition, while the sweeping garments and spectral head provide space for smooth transitions, saturated glazes and atmospheric effects. The armour and chains can instead be developed through metallic or non-metallic metal techniques.

The painted miniature shown in the product images is the official box art and represents one possible interpretation of the model. The kit itself is supplied unassembled and unpainted, ready to be prepared and painted according to your own creative vision.
