Morgan's Riflemen, Boston, 1775

From the Revolution: Liberty or Death line. This 75mm figure depicts one of Morgan's Riflemen — the elite Continental light infantry accepted into the unit only by hitting a 7-inch target at 250 paces twice in a row. Distinguished at Saratoga (1777), they wear the characteristic fleeced hunting shirt and carry the long rifle that made the unit feared.
