The Teutonic Order, founded in the Holy Land in the XII century, had by 1460 evolved from crusading order to a feudal and commercial power in the Baltic. This 75mm figure depicts a Teutonic knight in the last era of the order's splendor, wearing a state-of-the-art harness comparable to contemporary Western European armour.
