After hearing people refer to this palette as the best on the market, I still can't confirm if it is, as I haven't tried them all. But I can definitely say it's a contender. The lid is tight, the foam keeps moisture well, the re-usable membrane is smooth and convenient, and I've yet to encounter any sign of mould or mildew in my usage.
My one gripe is the lid is maybe a little TOO tight. If you're not careful, you can have paint spillage into your tray whilst trying to get a grip on the silicone cover, peeling it at an angle. I've learned to take off the top whilst it is flat on a surface, as to not have fluids flowing off the membrane.
