The Franco-Prussian War, also known as the War of 1870, was a conflict between the Second French Empire and the German States of the North German Confederation led by the Kingdom of Prussia. It was a clash between the desires of Prussian-led unification of Germany on one side, and the fears of France about the consequences of the emergence of a new powerful expansionist empire right at its doorsteps.
The German forces obtained a decisive victory over the French, as they had better training and leadership. Also, their equipment was more modern and they made better use in warfare of three relatively new assets available: railroads, telegraph and modern artillery.
As the German Army was composed of troops from the different states of the Confederation, there was a wide variety of uniforms and insignia.
Our figure, a classic Elite Miniaturas reference sculpted by Stefano Cannone, portrays a drummer from a Bavarian line infantry regiment, dressed in the particular cornflower blue uniform of the troops of this German State.

– Our figure has a nice pose, inspired by the air of the period.– It has plenty of options for painting and allows depicting different regiments of the Continental Army.– Our signature resin quality allows you to get the figure clean and ready in almost no time, so you may invest your precious free time in what matters: painting and having fun.
The Continental Army was created after the outbreak of the American Revolutionary War by a resolution of the Continental Congress on June 14th, 1775 that answered the desperate need of raising a full military force to fight against the British Army.
In the beginning, the Thirteen Colonies didn’t have an army and had to rely on Militias. Also, the first continental army suffered hard from the lack of supplies and trained officers. In spite of this, they grew in confidence and efficiency as the conflict developed and became quite an effective army in the best tradition of European standards.
Our bust depicts a generic Continental Infantryman that can be painted in a big array of combinations depending on the regiment of choice. For this version, we have chosen the 1st Pennsylvania regiment that sports the combination of blue uniforms with red facings that were assigned to these troops.

One of the most notable qualities of “Dracula”, the acclaimed novel by Bram Stoker, is how most of its secondary characters have managed to remain relevant and even become cultural archetypes.
Jonathan and Mina Harker, the crazed Renfield, Dr Seward, Lucy Westenra… all are very well known, but there is someone in particular who has left a permanent mark in popular culture and established a specific type of character in the Horror genre. We are talking about Dr Abraham Van Helsing, who set the tone for the misunderstood and somewhat crazy erudite who has embarked on a lifelong battle against the forces of darkness.
Even some of the most obscure characters have left an impression, like the three mysterious vampire brides that dwell in the darker crypts of the castle, voluptuous and dangerous, whose origin never gets explained in the novel and find their demise at the hands of our favourite vampire killer.
In this vignette, we want to portray that particular moment, with Van Helsing exploring the darkest corners of Dracula’s castle, trying to purge the evil of these creatures of the night from this world.

– This is a new chance to get an iconic and long out-of-production figure from a fascinating period.– The sculpture perfectly captures the attitude of the proud Sioux warriors.– Our signature resin quality allows you to get the figure clean and ready in almost no time, so you may invest your precious free time in what really matters: painting and having fun.
The Sioux is a Native-American people that originally was arranged in a confederation of tribes that later was known as The Great Sioux Nation. When the Europeans arrived on the Northern American continent and encountered them, they lived in the American plains of the actual United States of America and the south of Canada.
The disruption that the appearance of the European settlers caused on all the existing cultures along the whole continent also impacted greatly these nomadic people that made a living essentially on the hunting of the bison. Bit by bit, their lands were taken from them and their territories were invaded by the expansion of a young nation that was immersed in a long self-defining process.
The resultant conflict from this decline is commonly known as the Indian Wars and spanned a few centuries. It came to a climax during the mid-nineteen century and had its last climax during the Black Hills War that started in 1875 when the Gold Rush reached the remaining territories of the Sioux. The Federal Government tried to buy the land from them, but they refused and an army was sent to evict them under the orders of General Custer. The federal army was destroyed at the Battle of Little Big Horn. That would be the last triumph of the Sioux and the start of their final decline, which ended up with their confinement in reservations.

The conflicts known as the “Swedish Crusades” are one of the many wars fought in Northern Europe during diverse moments of the Middle Ages, aimed at expanding the conversion of the remaining pagan people who lived on the fringes of the Christian kingdoms.
After converting to Christianity, some Nordic powers like the Danes, the Norwegians and, especially, the Swedish, embarked on crusades against those neighbours who were still pagan, like the Finns and other Baltic cultures, mostly as a means to expand their influence and power.
The Swedish directed three crusades to Finland over around 150 years, establishing an early colonisation of the area that even reached Western Karelia.
Our miniature is a classic figure from Elite Miniaturas that represents a Swedish Knight in full armour from the early 14th century.

From the heart of the continent’s verdant plains stretches a steppe without end—an ocean of grass reaching toward eternity. This is the dominion of Turana. Across these boundless lands roam warring clans, locked in ceaseless struggle, each vying for pasture and survival. They do not know where the steppe begins or ends—but all of it belongs to her.
The clans pray to Turana in blood and sacrifice, seeking victory, abundance, and the strength of their khans.
Yet she does not care for their conflicts. What draws her is not triumph or ruin, but the hunger within them—their endless drive for dominion and expansion. That desire nourishes her; it intoxicates her.
Her favor falls upon rare Khagans who unite the clans and push beyond the steppe’s limits. Her gaze is never confined, drifting toward other daimons and the realms still unclaimed.

At the edge of the continent, where mountains shield the land from the Death Desert’s scorched winds, the Oldroot Forest rises — ancient, vast, and untamed. Towering trees wrapped in thick vines pierce the sky, older than any known forest, as if planted by the world’s first breath.
No paths lead into its depths. It offers no guidance, no welcome. The Oldroot is alive — a merciless fortress where birds cry warnings, and vines strike intruders in shadow.
Because the forest is not unguarded.
She is its will, its wrath, and its mercy. She is Silvana — Daimon of the Oldroot Forest.

Where the plains end and jagged peaks rise crowned in eternal snow, Nevara reigns in silence and storm. Clad in crystalline armor, she is the mountain’s stillness and its fury, guardian to the faithful and judge to the proud. Her presence is felt in every whispering gale, every groan of shifting ice, every brittle calm before disaster. Mountaineers and miners leave offerings at her shrines, praying for her grace, for her favor opens safe paths while her displeasure buries valleys beneath endless frost. Yet when her sorrow breaks the silence, her cry unleashes avalanches and shards of ice. It is not anger but mourning that stirs her voice—and in that lament lies her judgment: frozen death.

In a time not far from ours, there lived a mermaid who longed to see the world above the waves. She traded the shimmer of the sea for a pair of clanking, clever legs, guided by a patient octopus who danced with every step. The land felt strange beneath her fins, but her curiosity carried her forward. Still, the surface held its own mischief: a clever village cat delighted in nibbling her sparkling tail whenever she lingered, and each stumble was a small trial of patience. Yet the mermaid pressed on, wobbling and resolute, discovering that every awkward step ashore was part of a new, wondrous story.

One night, as the group stopped to look at the sky, they noticed something strange.
There were no stars.
The vast darkness that usually watched over their journeys was completely empty, as if someone had turned off every light in the universe.
Anka looked up with worry.
“What if they never come back?” she whispered frightened.
Eliza didn’t answer right away. She sat on her broom, opened her great magic book, and let the wind gently turn its pages.
“Important things rarely disappear without leaving a clue,” she said with a smile.
From between the pages, a tiny glowing butterfly flew out and rose into the darkness, following a trail that nobody else could see. The group followed it beyond the mountains, where they discovered a giant cloud hidden above the world.
Inside the cloud were all the stars, kept safe like little shining crystals.
A small creature who lived in the cloud had collected them because it was afraid that one day the sky would become empty forever.
The group wanted to explain that the stars could not belong to just one person, but Eliza approached quietly.
She opened her book once more and let out her little rabbit, who began hopping around the stars, making them sparkle and dance. Then her wolf lay beside the creature, keeping it company.
Slowly, the little creature understood that stars shine brightest when everyone is able to see them.
Carefully, Eliza lifted her broom, and one by one, the stars returned to the sky, filling the night with light once again.
Anka looked at Eliza in amazement.
“Did you know that would work?” she asked.
Eliza closed her book and smiled.
“Not always. Magic is much easier when you listen before trying to change things.”

The King Fisher Bird
The common kingfisher (Alcedo atthis) also known as the Eurasian kingfisher, and river kingfisher, is a small kingfisher with seven subspecies recognized within its wide distribution across Eurasia and North Africa. It is resident in much of its range, but migrates from areas where rivers freeze in winter.
This sparrow-sized bird has the typical short-tailed, large-headed kingfisher profile; it has blue upperparts, orange underparts and a long bill. It feeds mainly on fish, caught by diving, and has special visual adaptations to enable it to see prey under water. The glossy white eggs are laid in a nest at the end of a burrow in a riverbank.
The koala (Phascolarctos cinereus, or, inaccurately, koala bear[a]) is an arborealherbivorous marsupial native to Australia. It is the only extantrepresentative of the family Phascolarctidae and its closest living relatives are the wombats, which comprise the family Vombatidae.[4]. The koala is found in coastal areas of the mainland’s eastern and southern regions, inhabiting Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria, and South Australia. It is easily recognisable by its stout, tailless body and large head with round, fluffy ears and large, spoon-shaped nose. The koala has a body length of 60–85 cm (24–33 in) and weighs 4–15 kg (9–33 lb). Pelage colour ranges from silver grey to chocolate brown. Koalas from the northern populations are typically smaller and lighter in colour than their counterparts further south. These populations possibly are separate subspecies, but this is disputed.

The Parson’s Chameleon
(Calumaa Pasonii)
Among the largest chameleons in the world (usually considered the largest by weight, but shorter than the Malagasy Giant Chameleon which holds the title for the largest by length), C. parsonii males have ridges running from above the eyes to the nose, forming two warty horns. There are two recognized subspecies: The widespread Calumma p. parsonii reaches up to 68 cm (27 in) in total length (including tail), about the size of a cat, and has no dorsal crest. Calumma p. cristifer, from near Andasibe, reaches 47 cm (18 1⁄2 in), and has a small dorsal crest.[4][5] Several colour variants are known within the range typically included in the nominate subspecies, but it is unclear if they are best considered morphs or different subspecies (at present, most consider them morphs). This includes “orange eye” aka “white-lipped” (generally considered typical of the nominate subspecies), where the male is relatively small and mainly green or turquoise but with yellow or orange eyelids; “yellow lip” where the male is somewhat larger and mainly green or turquoise, but with a yellow edge to the mouth; “yellow giant” where the male is very large and overall yellowish (strongly marked with dusky when stressed); and “green giant” where the male is overall green. Males of C. p. cristifer are overall green or turquoise.[4] Females of both subspecies are smaller than the males and overall greenish, yellowish or brownish (often with an orange tinge).
